How to import your existing CRM data

CSV imports, field mapping, and what to expect from the migration helper.

If you are migrating from HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or a spreadsheet, the path into OrbitCubs CRM goes through the CSV importer.

Export your contacts, leads, opportunities, and accounts from your current tool as CSV. In OrbitCubs CRM, open Settings → Data Import. The importer parses headers, suggests field mappings, lets you fix the ones it got wrong, and previews the first ten rows before committing.

The importer handles the common gotchas: phone-number normalization, duplicate detection by email, and timezone conversion on date fields. For custom fields, you can map straight into a JSON field on the record or define new typed fields first through the custom-objects feature (post-v1.0).

Most migrations finish in under an hour for teams under 10,000 records. Larger imports run in batches and can be resumed mid-import if the browser tab closes.
